The girls finished school on Thursday, June 6th. They had a surprise visit from Grammie. She came to look at houses in Wilmington, DE. Although she was unable to find one this weekend, we are all excited by the idea of her moving closer to us. Today, June 10th, we left for NYC. Even the rain couldn't keep us from getting excited about our time away. Upon our arrival, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Gyu-Kaku , a Japanese BBQ. The food was amazingly delicious. It is going to be hard to find a restaurant that can top it! After that, we hopped aboard the subway and headed to the Guggenheim. While none of us love modern or abstract art, we did enjoy opening our minds to the creative expressions of many different artists.
